At a recent CDTOA chapter meeting in the LA area that Lee, Greg and I attended, in our discussions on various topics; the issue of brokers increasing their brokerage fees came up. Apparently, this has been an ongoing policy throughout the state for a while. Most members understood the reasons for this increase, but were a little upset due to the increase also in the “Dispatch Service Fees”. HUH???....What are you talking about, says I. “You know, the dispatch service fee,” say they. How much is that, says I. “Why, $25 per day,” say they. “Holy Crap-ola!”, says I.
