There will be a Circle the Capitol rally against cap and trade on August 15th from 11am to 1pm on the West Steps of the State Capitol - the very day CARB will be doing its “practice” cap and trade auction and we need to send a strong message.

It couldn’t be more important for us to show up in huge numbers to oppose $143 billion in unnecessary energy cost increases.

CEU opponents are seeing that Californians are waking up to the prospect of $6/gallon gas, diesel and millions of additional lost jobs and they are going into full scale panic mode.
Word is, a close partner of avowed Communist, Van Jones is now hastily organizing a rally of their own the day following ours in support of cap and trade.

The mobilization of our opponents by Van Jones allied California Environmental Justice Alliance, is a great sign CEU’s efforts are working but it also requires we step it up a notch.
