A must read letter from CCTA (CDTOA) retired member Frank J Miranda, dated, July 23-2012 If I was starting my dump truck business or even if I was in dump trucking for the last 15 or 20 years I would like to read how it was in early dump trucking years ago. I can’t believe the stories I read about CARB and this environmental problem with diesel engines shoved on truckers trying to make a living. I started driving at a very early age of 12 in dairy farms. I was in my dump trucking business 30 years. I drove trucks with dirty polluting diesel engines for many years. I smelled diesel fumes and smoke inside the cab of these old polluters. These environmental big shots, telling everyone diesel engines are killing people. I think these people of full of B#!L S%*T. I have driven trucks with diesel engines for 40 + years. I have been retired for 18 years and will be 85 coming next September. My health is good except for stiffness when I get out of bed at 5:30 am. I do my daily exercise and go on my one mile walks every morning. Now these Big shots, are saying polluting diesel engines are the cause of premature deaths. Well I am living proof that their science is nothing but junk. We like to hear from you, write to CTN Magazine, 334 N. Euclid Avenue, Upland, CA 91786
